From August 28th to September 5th, the Vietnam Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi, will host the exhibition “80 Years of Independence, Freedom, and Happiness.” According to the proposal, the exhibition will showcase a variety of content, with a highlight on the country’s achievements over the past 80 years of development across multiple sectors. Particularly in key areas including industry and technology; investment and trade; agriculture and rural areas; security and defense; foreign affairs; healthcare, education; and culture, sports, and tourism.

At the same time, the exhibition will also introduce Vietnamese culture – Country and People, showcasing the 4000-year-old cultural traditions; the diverse cultures of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of natural resources and specialties from the three regions; and prominent architectural works from the past and present across the country.

At a meeting on August 10th to review the progress of the construction of the exhibition booths, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh instructed all units to accelerate their work, adopting a 24/7 work spirit. He also requested that the relevant departments review the list of units that registered late for construction and ensure that they commence construction simultaneously on August 11th and 12th.
