Maximizing Passenger Support

Starting from 00:00 on August 18, 2025, Bamboo Airways will officially transfer all domestic flight operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Within 07 days, from August 18 to August 25, 2025, Bamboo Airways passengers who miss their flights departing from Terminal 3 due to a lack of information but arrive at Terminal 3 within 20 minutes after the departure time printed on their tickets and are confirmed by the airline’s ground staff will be eligible for a free ticket change to the next available flight on the same route.

In cases where there are no available seats on the next flight, Bamboo Airways will still offer a free ticket change without any fare difference for passengers to the earliest flight with available seats. For routes with only one daily flight, passengers will be accommodated on the same route the following day, free of charge.

During the first week of the transition to Terminal 3, Bamboo Airways introduces special support policies for passengers.

At the same time, to ensure maximum communication with all passengers traveling to/from Tan Son Nhat Airport with Bamboo Airways from August 18, 2025, the airline has been actively promoting this change across all official channels, including its website, official fanpage, email, SMS, and Zalo OA account. Bamboo Airways recommends that passengers proactively monitor and update their information to avoid any confusion and ensure a smooth travel experience.

With thorough preparations and timely support policies for passengers during the initial transition phase, Bamboo Airways aims for smooth and punctual flights and strives to deliver a seamless and satisfying travel experience.

Enhancing Service Quality

Equipped with modern infrastructure, Terminal 3 boasts 90 traditional check-in counters, 20 drop-off counters, 42 check-in kiosks, and 27 boarding gates (including 13 jet bridges and 14 bus gates), along with 25 security checkpoints and separate lounge areas for VIP and business passengers.

At Terminal 3, Bamboo Airways flights will be processed at counters 45-50 (opposite gates D2 and D3 of Terminal 3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport) and can be flexibly expanded to counters 43-52 based on actual demand and volume. The airline’s last-minute ticketing counter will be conveniently located in the D2 gate area for easy access.

“We chose the date of our transition to the new terminal to coincide with our 7th anniversary in the Vietnamese aviation market as a testament to our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in delivering an exceptional passenger experience,” said a representative of the airline. “At Terminal 3, passengers can expect modern ground services, punctual flights, and the signature attentive and hospitable service that Bamboo Airways has become known for over the past 7 years.”

According to the latest statistics from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, for the first seven months of 2025, Bamboo Airways maintained its position as the most punctual airline in the domestic aviation industry, with an average on-time performance of 80.1%. Additionally, Bamboo Airways had the lowest number of flight cancellations, with only 0.1% of flights canceled (equivalent to 8 flights).
