Hòa Phát attributes the disruption in egg imports from traditional markets like Thailand and Cambodia to shifts in trade policies and elevated logistics costs. Additionally, record-low egg prices at the beginning of the year prompted many small-scale farmers to downsize their flocks, resulting in reduced supply. Meanwhile, the domestic consumption demand has witnessed a swift recovery, driving up egg prices in recent days.
Amidst market fluctuations, Gia Cầm Hòa Phát has maintained stable production levels thanks to its closed-loop farming system and stringent control over disease prevention, biosecurity, and supply chain factors. On average, the company supplies nearly 1,000,000 commercial eggs to the market daily. In 2024, total production exceeded 330 million eggs, marking an increase of nearly 20 million eggs compared to the previous year.
