In her speech at the ceremony, Chairwoman My Anh stated that the team’s official entry into V.League marks a “new turning point in the history of Hoa Lu ancient capital football.” She affirmed her vision to develop the club harmoniously, sustainably, and with a strong sense of identity.

Nguyen Ngoc My Anh, born in 2001, is the first and youngest female chairwoman of a V.League club, leading Ninh Binh FC. She is the eldest daughter of businessman Nguyen Duc Thuy (Bầu Thụy), and a former international student in the US since 2013. She attended Forest Ridge School in Washington, the same school once attended by Bill Gates’ daughter.
During her time abroad, My Anh received the “Honors Award for Diligence” and accolades from former US President Barack Obama in 2016. Specifically, she was recognized for her academic achievements as she topped her 8th grade at a Washington middle school.
In 2021, she contributed 10% of the capital to her family’s company, Thaispace, and served as its General Director and legal representative.
Upon her return to Vietnam, My Anh expressed her commitment to developing Ninh Binh FC sustainably, harmoniously, and with a unique identity. She is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the ancient capital’s football scene.
