Firefighting UAVs: Revolutionizing Emergency Response
On August 14th, a dialogue forum on fire prevention, rescue, security, safety, and digital transformation was held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The event was graced by the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, along with leaders from the Ministry of Public Security, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, and various other ministries, sectors, and provincial People’s Committees.
The exhibition showcased four groups of products and technologies: fire prevention and rescue solutions, security and smart building technologies, applications for industrial parks, high-tech zones, and premium buildings, and smart city and commerce solutions. Among the participants was CT UAV, a member of CT Group, presenting two specialized UAV solutions for fire prevention and rescue missions.
CT Group, which recently signed a deal to export 5,000 UAVs to South Korea, showcased their expertise in the field. They introduced the CT-SURVEY COMPACT 5KG UAV, designed for fire monitoring, early detection, and warning in high-risk areas. This UAV is programmed for automatic flights at fixed schedules, with a payload of 3-6kg, a maximum altitude of 5,000 meters, and a wind resistance capacity of <13.8m/s (Level 6).

Taking center stage was the HEXAROTOR FIREFIGHTING UAV, a powerful tool for direct firefighting and rescue operations in hard-to-reach areas. With a payload of 60-200 kg, a maximum altitude of 3,000 meters, and wind resistance capacity of <13.8m/s (Level 6), this UAV is equipped with a 4K AI 180x hybrid zoom camera, ensuring effective emergency response.

The combination of these two UAV systems significantly reduces response time, increases rescue speed, and enhances community protection. CT Group is also making strides in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles with 16 UAV lines and investments in the Low Altitude Economy (LAE).
Pioneering UAV Transportation in ASEAN
At the International Defense Exhibition in Vietnam in late 2024, CT Group showcased their prototype for the CT-2W1 fixed-wing UAV, capable of carrying up to 5 people with a maximum flight time of 2 hours. With a top speed of 200 km/h, this UAV is set to revolutionize transportation in the region. CT UAV is expected to commence mass production by the end of 2025 or early 2026.

General Secretary To Lam examines CT Group’s CT-UAV at the International Defense Exhibition in Vietnam 2024. CT Group’s heavy-lift UAVs, with a payload capacity of 60 to 300 kg and 85% localization, are set to be exported to South Korea. The company is also developing AI-integrated UAVs, combining semiconductor technology with network location identification systems. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended CT Group’s initiatives, reflecting the spirit of “the country’s success lies in the success of its enterprises.” He directed relevant ministries, sectors, and local authorities to support CT Group in various aspects, including access to preferential credit packages for science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, as well as brand development and domestic production encouragement.
