Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) has announced its collaboration with various agencies, local authorities, and key industry players to organize a job fair at the Long Thanh International Airport. The event will take place on August 23 at the Comprehensive Service Center in An Phuoc, Dong Nai.

Participating companies include Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company (VIAGS), Saigon Ground Services Joint Stock Company (SAGS), Vietnam In-flight Supply Joint Stock Company (VACS), Vietnam In-flight Supply Joint Stock Company (VINACS), Tan Son Nhat Airport Service Joint Stock Company (SASCO), and Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA).

During this recruitment drive, these companies will showcase their hiring needs and outline the requirements for key positions in phase 1 of the Long Thanh International Airport project. Attendees can learn about the available positions, submit their applications, and participate in preliminary interviews with potential employers.

Previously, on August 6, the ACV’s Labor Recruitment Council posted job openings for positions at the Long Thanh Airport for the third time.

ACV is currently seeking engineers specialized in operating, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, electronic and telecommunication equipment, mechanical and automation systems, and chemical analysis.

Earlier in 2025, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai approved a project titled “Training and Developing Local Human Resources to Serve the Long Thanh International Airport (abbreviated as Long Thanh Airport) for the period of 2024-2026, with a vision towards 2030.” The project aims to facilitate the training and employment of local students and workers, especially those affected by land retrieval, to meet the human resource demands of the upcoming airport.

The project sets a target to train and support the employment of approximately 4,800 local residents at the Long Thanh Airport (both inside and outside the airport premises) by 2030.

During the first phase from 2024 to 2026, the project aims to train 1,600 people through integrated training programs, while the second phase from 2027 to 2030 will focus on both integrated and customized training for 3,200 individuals.

The total estimated cost for implementing this project is over VND 121 billion.

Additionally, Mr. Le Truong Son, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dong Nai, instructed the Department of Education and Training to create a Zalo group to facilitate swift and efficient communication regarding training and job placement for the Long Thanh International Airport.

Furthermore, Mr. Son suggested that the Vietnam Aviation Academy collaborate with the Department of Education and Training to develop a dedicated website and application for training and job placement related to the Long Thanh International Airport.

In recent news, the Prime Minister has instructed relevant entities and units to reconstruct the project timeline, setting December 19, 2025, as the completion date for all packages and items of the Long Thanh International Airport project, phase 1. The early completion of the project is expected to generate employment and livelihood opportunities for local residents.

The Prime Minister emphasized the need for clear assignments, responsibilities, and timelines for each task and authority. Additionally, relevant ministries, sectors, and units must strengthen inspection, supervision, and urging to ensure timely completion.

While adhering to the schedule, it is imperative to maintain the quality, technical aesthetics, environmental landscape, and prevent corruption, negativity, and wastefulness. The implementation of airport operation and exploitation projects must comply with standards and procedures, and the planning of the airport city must align with the required pace.
