According to information from the Dong Nai Department of Education and Training, on August 23, the Vietnam Airports Corporation – JSC (ACV) will collaborate with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Home Affairs, and relevant provincial agencies to host a job fair for the Long Thanh International Airport in Cong Vien 3A, An Phuoc, Dong Nai province.

As reported by Bao Dong Nai, this large-scale recruitment drive aims to prepare the necessary human resources for the upcoming operation of the Long Thanh International Airport.

Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VJC) takes the lead in hiring demands, offering over 950 positions ranging from flight attendants and ground staff to technical and operational specialists.

In addition to Vietjet, other companies with substantial recruitment needs include Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (VIAGS), Saigon Ground Services Joint Stock Company (SAGS, HOSE: SGN), Vietnam Airlines Aviation Joint Stock Company (VACS), Vietnam In-flight Service Joint Stock Company (VINACS), Tan Son Nhat Airport Services Joint Stock Company (SASCO, UPCoM: SAS), and Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA).

The Long Thanh Airport project spans an area of 5,000 hectares and entails a total investment of approximately $16 billion (equivalent to 336,630 billion VND). The project commenced construction in early 2021.

Currently, the project is in its first phase, which involves constructing a 4,000-meter-long and 75-meter-wide runway, a passenger terminal, and auxiliary works. Upon completion, this phase will have a capacity of 25 million passengers and 1.2 million tons of cargo annually.
