Mr. Son shared that at the regular meeting in July, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Phu Tho requested that agencies and localities continue to reform administrative procedures, improve the investment environment, and remove obstacles related to compensation, site clearance, and land rent determination to implement projects, especially key public investment projects, to create momentum for growth. The province aims for double-digit economic growth this year.

Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Phu Tho, affirmed that the province’s economic development and budget revenue in the first six months and July have achieved impressive figures. The central government highly appreciates the province’s budget revenue and growth rate, ranking it among the top 10 provinces and cities with the highest economic development and state budget revenue.

“Despite the challenges posed by the province’s administrative consolidation and the implementation of a two-tier government model, social security policies and measures to ensure the well-being of the people have been very well implemented by all levels and sectors, meeting the aspirations and wishes of the people,” said Mr. Hieu. With the current growth momentum, Phu Tho Province is determined to achieve the target of double-digit GRDP growth in 2025,” he emphasized.
