“MCST Announces 70% Stock Dividend Payout and Impressive 2024 Financial Results”

In a recent board resolution, the company announced that it will issue 3.96 million shares as a 70% stock dividend payout immediately after obtaining approval from the State Securities Commission. This makes MCST one of the companies with the highest stock dividend payout rates since the beginning of 2025.

Following this issuance, the company’s chartered capital will increase from VND 56.58 billion to VND 96.18 billion.

Strong Financial Performance in 2024

For the fiscal year 2024, MCST reported impressive results with a revenue of VND 274 billion, reflecting a nearly 15% increase compared to 2023. Net profit reached VND 12.3 billion, representing a remarkable 58% growth. The earnings per share (EPS) stood at VND 2,180 per share.

Notably, the company attributed this growth to its core business operations rather than extraordinary profits.

As a result of this performance, MCST ended 2024 with a substantial amount of retained earnings of VND 40.6 billion against total equity of VND 97.6 billion. This indicates that almost all accumulated profits will be utilized for capital increase and further investment in the company’s business operations.

On July 17, the company signed significant contracts related to its coal business. MCST invested in a coal washing system with a capacity of 80-100 tons per hour and entered into coal purchase agreements worth VND 86.3 billion with the Northeast Corporation.

In the stock market, MCST’s share price, trading under the ticker ALV, has witnessed a strong upward trend since the end of July. As of August 15, ALV closed at VND 15,300, almost doubling its value compared to the beginning of the year.
