The People’s Committee of Cam Lam commune, Khanh Hoa province, has recently announced land retrieval for the Cam Lam and Cam Ranh City Resettlement Area project.
The total area of retrieved land is approximately 183 hectares, including about 143 hectares in position 1 and 40 hectares in position 2.
The timeline for land retrieval is 90 days for agricultural land and 180 days for non-agricultural land, starting from the date of receipt of this land retrieval notice by the land occupant.
This land retrieval notice is valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
The Cam Lam and Cam Ranh City Resettlement Area is a project with a scale of 239 hectares. According to the old administrative units, the project site is located in Cam Hai Dong commune (Cam Lam district) and Cam Thanh Nam and Cam Nghia wards (Cam Ranh city).
The project has a total investment of over VND 2,700 billion (including compensation and site clearance costs) and is invested by Vinhomes Joint Stock Company.
The project’s capital sources include owner equity contribution and legally mobilized capital from other sources.

Population scale of the resettlement area.
With a scale of 239 hectares, the project will be implemented in 4 locations. According to the old administrative units, location 1 has a scale of 143 hectares (belonging to Cam Hai Dong commune), location 2 has 40 hectares (Cam Hai Dong commune), location 3 has nearly 40 hectares (Cam Nghia ward), and location 4 has about 16 hectares (Cam Thanh Nam commune).
In terms of progress, it is expected that from the second quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2026, site clearance and investment preparation will be completed. The resettlement area will then be implemented and completed in the second quarter of 2027.
According to the investor’s environmental impact assessment report in April 2025, the implementation of the “Cam Lam and Cam Ranh City Resettlement Area” project aims to establish a stable and synchronous residential land fund with complete infrastructure to serve the resettlement of local residents. It also contributes to realizing the urban development goals set out in the approved planning schemes.
