With just a few days to go until the country officially celebrates the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and National Day on September 2nd, businesses are gearing up with special offerings.

Businesses Race to Launch New Products for National Day

This National Day, unique clothing and accessories featuring the iconic red flag with a gold star are in high demand among young Vietnamese. Mr. Dang Ngoc Dung, owner of the Loma fabric bag factory in Ho Chi Minh City, reported a significant surge in orders for bags printed with the Vietnamese flag.

His factory is currently producing 500 bags for corporate clients as gifts for their customers, in addition to individual orders. These bags are priced at 50,000 to 90,000 VND each, with a 10% discount for bulk purchases.

“This is the first time we’ve produced this bag design, and we hope it will be well-received during the upcoming holiday. The bag is made of two layers of jute fabric, giving it a sturdy and elegant form. It’s spacious enough to carry everything from water bottles to baby essentials and clothes, making it ideal for families going out during the holiday,” said Mr. Dung.

Taking advantage of this patriotic season, Mr. Thanh Nam, owner of the Mach Lac Brand, introduced a collection titled “The Vietnam of the Vietnamese.” This collection draws inspiration from five historical landmarks pre-dating September 2, 1945: Tan Trao Communal House, Tan Trao Banyan Tree, Hanoi Opera House, the house at 48 Hang Ngang Street, and Ba Dinh Square.

These landmarks are depicted through exclusive artwork and applied to t-shirts, tote bags, keychains, and more, priced at 250,000 to 300,000 VND. The collection has gained support from young Vietnamese for its aesthetic appeal, reasonable pricing, and historical significance.
