In a recent development, Apple has halted the distribution of three iPhone models, namely the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 14 Plus, in Vietnam. With Apple officially discontinuing the sale of these familiar iPhone models, the iPhone 13 has now become the most affordable, officially distributed iPhone in the country.
Currently, the iPhone 13’s price hovers around 11.3 – 11.5 million VND, a drop of 300,000 – 400,000 VND from late July, making it the most affordable iPhone model that Apple still distributes.
The iPhone 13 boasts a powerful A15 Bionic chip, improved cameras with larger sensors, and significantly enhanced video recording and photography capabilities compared to the recently discontinued iPhone 11. Additionally, the device offers long-term iOS update support and impressive battery life.

The iPhone 13 is an extremely attractive option for those seeking a new, powerful, and aesthetically pleasing iPhone without breaking the bank.
Not only the iPhone 13, but the iPhone 14 and 15 models are also witnessing price adjustments, with discounts of up to 700,000 VND depending on memory capacity and color options.
According to CellPhoneS representatives, in the segment below 20 million VND, the trio of iPhone 13, 14, and 15 will be the key offerings, and the system has proactively increased imports to cater to the year-end shopping season. Meanwhile, Viettel Store focuses on two models considered their “ace cards,” the iPhone 13 and iPhone 15 Plus. The iPhone 15 Plus, in particular, stands out for its large screen, excellent battery life, USB-C port, and a starting price of just 19 million VND.
It’s worth noting that the listed prices on dealer websites may not be the lowest that consumers will pay. By utilizing discount codes, payment promotions, and e-commerce platform offers, the actual prices can go even lower. For instance, the iPhone 15 Plus 128GB model can be purchased for under 17 million VND, a full 2 million VND less than the listed price at physical stores.
As per FPT Shop, the iPhone market in Vietnam is witnessing positive signals this year, with sales growth even during the typically stagnant period before the launch of new iPhone models. Experts attribute this to softer prices and back-to-school stimulus programs, creating a rare buzz in the market.
If rumors are to be believed, Apple is set to unveil the new iPhone generation at 0:00 on September 10 (Vietnam time), and there’s a high chance that they will go on sale earlier than usual in Vietnam.

The End of an Era: Apple Discontinues Sales of Older iPhone Models in Vietnam, Bidding Farewell to the Iconic iPhone 11’s “National” Legacy.
Apple has made a strategic move by discontinuing the iPhone 11, 12, and 14 Plus models from its official product lineup. This decision marks a significant shift in the company’s offerings, leaving a notable gap in the market that these devices once occupied. With this change, Apple is steering its focus towards newer models, leaving Vietnamese users with a dwindling selection of older iPhones in the official retail stores.
