The VinFast Minio Green has been spotted on the streets of Hai Phong, with passersby encountering at least one prototype bearing temporary license plates and still bearing camouflage on its exterior. This isn’t the first time the Minio Green has been seen in the real world, but this sighting is particularly notable as the car is driving on Hai Phong roads and bearing temporary plates—suggesting that the Minio Green may be nearing completion and ready for delivery.

The car’s dimensions are 3,090 x 1,496 x 1,659 mm (length x width x height), with a ground clearance of 165 mm. From the clip of the Minio Green driving on the road, it’s evident that the car’s height is almost on par with the Mitsubishi Xpander and taller than the Hyundai Grand i10, despite being a mini car.

The cabin features fabric seats, a manually adjustable driver’s seat with four-way adjustment, manual air conditioning, a color display behind the steering wheel that doubles as a digital instrument cluster, and a two-speaker audio system with FM radio.

The electric motor delivers 20 kW (27 hp) and 65 Nm of torque to the rear wheels, enabling a top speed of 80 km/h. The 14.7 kWh LFP battery offers a range of 170 km on the NEDC cycle and supports up to 12 kW charging. Braking is handled by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, with MacPherson struts at both ends, ABS, traction control, and a driver airbag.
