According to Announcement No. 1127/TB-TCS1, Tax Department 1 stated that 679 businesses and individuals with tax debts exceeding VND 100 billion violated the Law on Tax Administration.

Notably, the company with the highest tax debt of over VND 467 billion is Vietnam Han Saigon Construction Trading Service Co., Ltd., a well-known enterprise in the real estate sector in Ho Chi Minh City, involved in the case of transferring four “golden land” plots in the city center without auction.

Ranking second is Yen Khanh Group Joint Stock Company with a tax debt of over VND 246 billion. This is followed by Danh Khoi Group Joint Stock Company with a tax debt of nearly VND 126 billion. It is known that Danh Khoi Group is a real estate developer with a large land fund spanning many provinces nationwide. In the list of real estate companies with tax debts, Danh Khoi is the only enterprise listed on the stock exchange.

According to the latest financial report, Danh Khoi Group Joint Stock Company recorded a 30% decrease in revenue in the second quarter to over VND 4 billion. Notably, the company has nearly VND 400 million in cash but short-term debt of up to VND 245 billion, with BIDV being the largest creditor, along with other bond debts.

Danh Khoi Group is also the investor of numerous projects in Danang and Binh Thuan, such as Lagi New City and Aria Danang, with investments of thousands of billions of dong.

The next group of companies with tax debts ranging from VND 35 billion to less than VND 70 billion includes Danh Khoi Viet Real Estate Service Joint Stock Company with a tax debt of VND 68 billion, Huu Nhan Trading Service Construction One-Member Limited Liability Company with a tax debt of over VND 52 billion, and Thien Bich Trading Limited Liability Company with a tax debt of over VND 38.6 billion.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department applied synchronous tax debt collection measures and determined to enforce tax debt collection for stubborn cases. Furthermore, specific tax debt collection tasks were assigned to individual officers to ensure effective implementation.
