Saigon Jewelry Company listed SJC gold bar prices at 124-125 million VND per tael for buying and selling, unchanged from yesterday morning.
Other gold bar traders also kept SJC gold bar prices unchanged at the peak of 125 million VND per tael.
Gold ring prices also remained stagnant at the peak. Specifically, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed gold ring prices at 117.2 – 120.2 million VND per tael. Mi Hong Gold System listed gold ring prices at 118 – 119.5 million VND per tael.

At the same time, world gold prices were listed at 3,315, a decrease of 16 USD from yesterday morning.
In the currency market, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,255 VND per USD, an increase of 10 VND from yesterday morning.
The reference buying and selling exchange rate at the State Bank’s Foreign Exchange Trading Center was also raised by 10 VND, to 24,043 – 26,467 VND/USD.
USD prices at commercial banks were adjusted to a new record high. Specifically, at Vietcombank, USD prices were listed at 26,090 – 26,480 VND/USD (buying – selling), an increase of 30 VND from yesterday morning.
BIDV also increased USD prices by 30 VND, bringing the buying and selling rates to 26,120 – 26,480 VND/USD.
VietinBank traded USD at 26,127 – 26,487 VND/USD (buying – selling), an increase of 28 VND.
Not only at state-owned banks but USD prices at private banks were also adjusted to a historic high.
Techcombank listed USD prices at 26,103 – 26,498 VND (buying – selling), an increase of 17 VND. Sacombank also increased USD prices by 33 VND, with the buying price at 26,125 VND and the selling price at 26,485 VND.
In the free market, USD prices were traded at 26,510 – 26,580 VND/USD for buying and selling, an increase of 30 VND in both directions.
Thus, USD prices in the official and black markets are currently quite close.
