Several banks have recently announced changes to their operating hours on August 21st (Thursday), 27th (Wednesday), and 29th (Friday) to align with traffic diversion plans for the 80th anniversary celebrations of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd in Hanoi.
Specifically, TPBank has informed that units located at 57 Ly Thuong Kiet and 6 branches within the traffic diversion area (TPBank Hanoi, West Hanoi, Doi Can, Ho Guom, TTKD Hoan Kiem, and Ba Dinh) will operate from 7 am to 4 pm. Over-the-counter transactions at these 7 units will conclude at 3 pm.
28 other units will halt cash transactions at 2 pm to ensure timely fund management. Branches outside the traffic diversion area will operate as usual.
The bank recommends that customers prioritize digital channels for convenience and advises staff to plan their commutes accordingly.

Similarly, VPBank has announced that to comply with the traffic diversion plans for the celebratory parade and march on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, they will adjust the operating hours of select branches and transaction offices in Hanoi on August 21st, 27th, and 29th. Details are as follows:
