
Road traffic towards Hanoi will be restricted during the specified time frames.
On August 19, representatives from the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) announced traffic diversion plans to facilitate the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.
The time frames during which road traffic towards Hanoi will be restricted are as follows: 3 PM on August 21st to 5 AM on August 22nd; 3 PM on August 24th to 5 AM on August 25th; 3 PM on August 27th to 5 AM on August 28th; 4 PM on August 29th to 5 PM on August 30th; and 4 PM on September 1st to 5 PM on September 2nd.
The vehicles subject to these restrictions include trucks weighing 10 tons or more and buses with a capacity of 45 passengers or more (with the exception of fixed-route buses, garbage trucks, emergency response vehicles, vehicles with commemorative event permits, and priority vehicles on official duty).
The Traffic Police will enforce these restrictions on the following routes:
Expressways: Hanoi – Ninh Binh Expressway: from Thuong Tin Interchange (Km 192+300, Hong Van, Hanoi); Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway: from Yen My Interchange (Km 21+500); Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway: from Van Xuan Interchange (intersection with National Highway 3 at Km40+700) to the interchange with National Highway 18 (Yen Phong, Bac Ninh Province); Hanoi – Lao Cai Expressway: from Binh Chuan – IC3 (intersection of CT05 with Provincial Road 310B in Binh Chuan, Phu Tho Province).
National Highways: National Highway 1A: from Phan Trong Tue Road intersection (Provincial Road 70A) to Ngoc Hoi (National Highway 1A); National Highway 1A (Hanoi – Bac Giang Expressway): from the intersection with Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway (Km 152+600, National Highway 1A); National Highway 2: from National Highway 2 – Vo Van Kiet Road intersection; National Highway 3: from the Cavalry Police Regiment (Ba Xuyen, Thai Nguyen Province) to Nam Tien intersection (from Km 46+650 to Km 41+900) and along Tran Nguyen Han Road (Van Xuan, Thai Nguyen Province) to Van Xuan Interchange.
National Highway 5: from Cau Chui Intersection (Nguyen Van Linh – Nguyen Van Cu); National Highway 6: from the intersection with Hoa Lac – Hoa Binh Road (Km 65+100, National Highway 6); National Highway 21A: from the intersection with National Highway 32 to Cho Ben Intersection (National Highway 21A intersection with Ho Chi Minh Road); National Highway 18: from the intersection with Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway (Yen Phong, Bac Ninh Province).
