
The Phu Ninh Resort project has officially broken ground, spanning 20,000 square meters.
On August 19th, amidst the celebratory atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, several large-scale projects in animal husbandry, energy, residential, resort, and transportation sectors were simultaneously inaugurated and commenced in Quang Tri province.
In Tuyen Binh, the Quang Tri People’s Committee, in collaboration with enterprises, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Gia Han High-tech Pig Farm project, with a total investment of VND 2,000 billion. The project covers an area of 197 hectares and aims to raise 15,000 sows and 180,000 market hogs, expecting to generate a revenue of VND 3,100-3,400 billion per year.

The Tien Dat – Toan Cau Joint Venture held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Bao Ninh 1 Social Housing project.
Also this morning, in Bao Ninh peninsula, Dong Hoi ward, the Tien Dat – Toan Cau Joint Venture held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Bao Ninh 1 Social Housing project.
The project comprises two 9-story residential buildings and two 3-story commercial service buildings, offering a total of 432 apartments ranging from 35 to 75 square meters. With an investment of over VND 500 billion, the project aims to provide housing for local residents, workers, and officials, while also beautifying the urban area in the new central area.
In the same Bao Ninh area, the Phu Ninh Resort project has officially broken ground, spanning 20,000 square meters. It features 250 5-star hotel rooms, 8 luxury villas, a conference center for 500 guests, and numerous accompanying utilities. The project has a total investment of nearly VND 800 billion.
According to the investor, the project marks a new step in the strategy to expand the chain of high-end resorts in Central Vietnam.
In Quang Trach, Ba Don ward, and Dong Son ward of Quang Tri province, construction also commenced on resettlement areas to serve the site clearance for the North-South high-speed railway project.
Inauguration of the Van Ninh – Cam Lo Expressway
Notably, on August 19, Quang Tri province and the Ministry of Construction inaugurated the Van Ninh – Cam Lo Expressway, which is over 65.5 kilometers long and has a total investment of nearly VND 9,920 billion. The project started in January 2023 and was completed after more than two and a half years of construction.
The expressway passes through Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces and connects with the Cam Lo – La Son Expressway, reducing travel time and boosting trade, tourism, and investment in the North Central region.
Inauguration of the 1,500 Billion VND Hai Anh Wind Power Plant
The Hai Anh Wind Power Plant project is a landmark initiative, proudly standing in the communes of Huong Phung and Lao Bao in Quang Tri Province. This ambitious undertaking represents a Group B energy project, ranked as a second-tier venture with an impressive 40 MW capacity. With a substantial investment of 1,500 billion VND, this onshore wind farm is a pioneering effort, being the first of its kind to partake in the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) – a testament to the strong collaboration between the governments of Vietnam and Japan.
The Grand Unveiling: Projects Commencing and Roads Opening on the 19th of August
On August 19, the Ministry of Construction will inaugurate several key transport infrastructure projects, including the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge and the Van Ninh-Cam Lo Expressway. These projects are set to revolutionize transportation networks and connectivity across the region. Additionally, the ministry will also commence construction on the Dau Giay-Tan Phu and Dong Dang-Tra Linh projects, further enhancing the country’s road and highway systems.
