Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi 15 in Vietnam, introducing a game-changing smartphone to the market. This affordable device is the first in its segment to feature a 7,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, setting a new standard for long-lasting performance.
According to Xiaomi Vietnam, the inclusion of this advanced battery technology in the Redmi 15 demonstrates their commitment to making cutting-edge innovations accessible to all. With this smartphone, they aim to deliver an exceptional experience that combines extended usage, safety, and affordability.
The standout feature of the Redmi 15 is its impressive 7,000mAh battery, the largest in its class. The Silicon-Carbon technology enhances energy storage capacity, reduces wear and tear, and ensures long-term durability. Xiaomi guarantees that a single full charge can power the phone for up to two days, and even at 1% battery, it can provide up to 64 minutes of talk time. In tests, the battery retained over 80% of its original capacity even after 1,600 charge-discharge cycles, equivalent to approximately four years of normal usage.

The Redmi 15 also supports 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging, along with Smart Charging 2.0 technology, which optimizes charging efficiency, reduces device heating, and prolongs battery life.
In terms of specifications, the Redmi 15 boasts a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate, typically found on gaming smartphones. This display ensures smooth performance, enhances entertainment, and delivers responsive touch interactions. It also holds three eye-protection certifications from TÜV Rheinland, reducing blue light exposure, minimizing flicker, and improving visibility in low-light conditions.
The device’s design features a sleek, curved body and comes in three color options: black, purple, and titanium gray. It is IP64-rated for water and dust resistance and incorporates Wet Touch 2.0 technology for accurate screen recognition even with wet hands.

Performance-wise, the Redmi 15 is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset, delivering stable multitasking and 3D gaming experiences. It runs on HyperOS 2, optimizing the interface and connectivity within the Xiaomi ecosystem. The AI 50MP camera setup meets basic photography needs and includes AI editing features like AI Erase and AI Sky.
The Redmi 15 will be exclusively available at The Gioi Di Dong, with a price of VND 4,790,000 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and VND 5,190,000 for the 8GB + 128GB version. During the launch period from August 22 to September 30, 2025, customers can enjoy discounts of up to VND 400,000, along with 0% interest installment plans and an extended 18-month warranty.
With its massive 7,000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery, the Redmi 15 sets a new benchmark for affordable smartphones. The perfect balance of long-lasting battery life, a large display, stable performance, and affordability makes the Redmi 15 a standout choice in the Vietnamese market for the second half of 2025.
