VinFast has announced an expansion of their current policies in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and An Giang to all provinces nationwide for automobiles. In addition to a 4% discount on the listed price, customers will receive a 3% annual interest rate support for auto loans for personal needs and a 4% annual interest rate support for auto loans for business purposes on the Xanh SM Platform. This support will be provided for three years.

For electric motorcycles, customers will receive an immediate 10% discount on the vehicle price. For personal use, customers can apply for installment loans of up to 80% of the vehicle price and only need to pay an initial 10% to take delivery of the vehicle. For business use on the Xanh SM Platform, customers can apply for installment loans of up to 90% of the vehicle price, with the option to take delivery with zero down payment. GSM also guarantees a fixed revenue share of 90% for three years. In addition, from August 21, 2025, to December 31, 2025, customers will be exempt from registration fees when purchasing VinFast electric motorcycles.

Beyond these purchase incentives, VinFast automobile and electric motorcycle users will enjoy free charging at all V-Green public charging stations until June 30, 2027 (for automobiles) and May 31, 2027 (for electric motorcycles).

Introducing an extensive battery swap system:

VinFast plans to implement an extensive battery swap system with up to 150,000 stations across all localities. They will also introduce a battery swap version of their current electric motorcycle models.

Starting in October 2025, VinFast will install the first 1,000 battery swap stations, aiming for 50,000 stations by the end of this year and completing the entire system within the next three years. According to VinFast, their network of battery swap stations will be significantly larger than the existing gasoline station network.

The battery swap electric motorcycle models will feature similar designs and functionalities as the models with included batteries, with the only difference being the battery compartment. This compartment will have two sections, allowing for easy removal and replacement of two batteries at public battery swap stations. Each battery will have a capacity of 1.5 kWh, and customers can choose to rent one or two batteries depending on their needs. The monthly battery rental fee is VND 200,000 per battery, and the battery swap fee is VND 9,000 per swap (including electricity charges). With a full charge, each battery can provide a maximum range of 85 km under standard conditions, resulting in extremely low energy costs compared to the cost of gasoline for the same distance.

The first model to be introduced with the battery swap option will be the Evo Max, scheduled for launch in October 2025, with a price of VND 20 million. Subsequently, VinFast will launch three additional battery swap models before the end of this year: the Feliz Max (VND 24.9 million), Verox Max (VND 33.9 million), and Drift Max (VND 39.9 million), catering to a diverse range of customer needs.

Alongside the battery swap versions, VinFast will continue to offer models with included batteries for customers who prefer to own the complete package and charge at home. Customers also have the option to purchase models with rented batteries and charge at home, depending on their preferences.
