Pension and social insurance allowances for September will be paid from September 3rd.

According to the regulations of Vietnam Social Security, pension and social insurance allowances are transferred directly to personal accounts on the 2nd of every month. In case the 2nd falls on a holiday or a day off, the payment will be made on the following working day. This means that the payment for September will start from September 3rd.

Thus, the pension payment for September 2025 will be made from September 3rd to 10th at the payment points and will continue until September 25th at the postal transaction points.

Pensioners need to follow the announcements from the local social insurance agency to be aware of the specific payment schedule and pay attention to important regulations related to changes in the form of receipt, authorization, temporary suspension, or termination of the regime.

According to Vietnam Social Security, about 3.4 million people will receive their September pension and social insurance allowances through direct deposit or cash. In addition, beneficiaries will also be paid at home if they are elderly, frail, sick, or otherwise unable to collect their payments in person.

In Hanoi, specifically, the Hanoi Social Security Agency will pay approximately VND 4,096 billion to more than 595,000 beneficiaries (over 99.4%) through personal accounts. The agency will also make cash payments of over VND 43.6 billion to more than 3,400 other beneficiaries.
