The VN-Index: Breaking the Winning Streak

The VN-Index’s impressive nine-session winning streak came to a halt on August 15, as the index fell by 10 points to close at 1,630. Despite this setback, the VN-Index has been on a remarkable climb, surging from 1,495 to successively breach the 1,500 and 1,600 marks.

According to Finance Minister Nguyen Van Thang, over 174,000 businesses entered and re-entered the market in the first seven months, with a total additional registered capital of over VND 3,300 trillion.
