The Thuy Van road in Vung Tau city is undergoing a remarkable transformation. With a total investment of nearly VND 1,100 billion, the project aims to enhance the beauty of the beach and create a modern tourist destination, just in time for the National Day celebrations on September 2nd.

Covering an area of 19.2 hectares and stretching 3.2 kilometers along the Back Beach, the project includes 12 main items such as infrastructure upgrades, the development of a seaside park, and the Thuy Van Square. Additionally, five pedestrian tunnels will be constructed along the road to provide easy access to the beach from hotels and services, ensuring convenience for tourists and locals alike.

The Thuy Van Square is the focal point of the project, and its construction is being expedited. Initially, the square was expected to be completed within six months for an inauguration on April 30th. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the timeline had to be adjusted, and the opening is now scheduled for the National Day celebrations.

As reported by VTC News, most of the project components are in the final stages of completion. On the construction site, hundreds of workers and machinery are working tirelessly, creating a vibrant atmosphere to ensure the project is ready for the National Day celebrations.

The Back Beach in Vung Tau has been transformed into a modern and welcoming public space for locals and tourists alike. Along Thuy Van road, rows of date palm trees over 4 meters high provide a refreshing green accent. Nearby, almost 1,800 trees, including banglang, royal poinciana, coconut, and crape myrtle, offer natural shade.

Interspersed within the park are flower gardens and green spaces spanning nearly 11,000 square meters, showcasing a vibrant palette of colors from snowbells, French lilac, pohutukawa, and bougainvillea. Along the pathways, round boulders serve as resting spots while adding a touch of dynamism to the landscape.

In the final days of August, workers on the site are rushing to complete the remaining tasks, working tirelessly despite the unpredictable weather, to meet the project deadline.

Mr. Tran Van Hai, a worker on the project, shared that with only a few days left until the inauguration, the entire workforce and machinery are operating at full capacity, making the most of favorable weather conditions to accelerate progress.

One of the most anticipated features of the project is the Tam Thang Tower, located right in the heart of the Back Beach. This landmark is currently undergoing rapid construction to be ready for the grand opening.

Other key components, such as the seashell-shaped roof, lifeguard towers, sidewalks, parks, lighting system, and pedestrian bridge, have already been completed and are awaiting the official opening to welcome visitors.

The investor affirms that by the National Day holiday on September 2nd, almost all the main items of the Thuy Van road urban embellishment project will be completed, ready to welcome locals and tourists to visit, relax, and celebrate.

The Thuy Van road embellishment project is expected to boost socio-economic development and elevate Vung Tau’s tourism scene, positioning it as an international destination.
