Thailand is the first market in Southeast Asia to receive the 2025 Honda Accord e:HEV.

The 2025 Honda Accord e:HEV made its debut at the Big Motor Sale event in Thailand, offering a “new generation” upgrade for Vietnamese customers if it were to be introduced in the country. While the Accord received a generation update in 2022, there are currently no plans to sell it in Vietnam.

For the 2025 model year, the Honda Accord e:HEV gains two additional safety features: blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, now standard across all trims.

The exterior of the 2025 Honda Accord receives subtle updates, including body-colored front and rear bumpers, and side skirts. The grille and air intakes are finished in black, while the E trim features black gloss wheels instead of silver. The taillights are equipped with LED technology.

The interior design remains largely unchanged, featuring a 12.3-inch central infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The vehicle is equipped with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.5-inch HUD, wireless charging, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

All three trims of the Honda Accord e:HEV are powered by a hybrid system, combining a 2.0L gasoline engine with two electric motors, delivering a total output of 207 hp and 335 Nm of torque, paired with an e-CVT transmission. The fuel consumption is rated at approximately 4 liters per 100 km.

In Thailand, the 2025 Honda Accord e:HEV is offered in three trims: E priced at $45,300, EL at $48,900, and RS at $52,900.

In Vietnam, the Honda Accord lags behind the Toyota Camry in sales. The Honda Accord often ranks among the least-sold vehicles in the market, with some months seeing zero sales. While Honda previously offered significant cash discounts of up to $10,000, these promotions have since ended. However, some dealerships with remaining stock continue to offer substantial discounts of up to $11,000.

Given the low sales figures, it is unlikely that the updated Honda Accord will be introduced in Vietnam anytime soon.
