Ami Kâo durians are a renowned agricultural product of Ea Knuéc Commune, symbolizing the hard work and perseverance of the Tay Nguyen highland villagers.
The livestream took place on TikTok and was hosted by Ms. Trinh and the local villagers in a 2-hectare durian garden belonging to Mr. Nguyen Cong Diem, a member of the Tay ethnic group residing in Ea Knuéc Commune.

This step also contributes to the province’s goal of having the digital economy account for 30% of GRDP by 2030.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Lich (born in 1995), Mr. Diem’s son, expressed his hope that the livestream would help them sell durians at better prices and ensure stable income.
Ms. Ngo Thi Minh Trinh, Party Secretary of Ea Knuéc Commune, affirmed, “The purpose of this livestream sale is not to seek fame or wealth but to learn and adapt to the digital transformation, hand in hand with the villagers.”
According to Ms. Trinh, livestreaming also aims to bring the famous agricultural products of each locality into the digital space, creating connections, sharing, and exchanging experiences.
After two livestream sessions on the same day, with the participation of Ms. Trinh and the villagers, nearly 60 tons of durians were sold, and they received VND 3.8 billion from accompanying enterprises to build and develop a sustainable Dak Lak durian ecosystem.
