Per the agreement, JS Link will assume the role of consultant, providing advanced technology transfer and supplying the entire system of equipment for Gene Viet’s Gene Testing Center. Expected to be operational in Q2 2026, the center will become a facility for genetic decoding, AI application in risk assessment, and early detection of cancers and genetic disorders such as stroke and diabetes.
With a testing capacity of up to 500,000 samples per year, this will be the largest gene testing center in Asia and among the world’s leaders in DNA testing. It combines modern analysis technologies with AI and Big Data applications in human genetics, creating breakthroughs in personalized medicine based on individuals’ genetic maps for proactive disease prevention, treatment, stem cell research, and applications in healthcare and beauty.
“This collaboration with JS Link brings not only the most advanced technologies in genomics but also marks a pivotal turning point, positioning Vietnam as a shining star on the map of biotechnology research and application in the region and worldwide,” emphasized Mr. Le Van Khoa, CEO of Gene Viet Molecular Biology Joint Stock Company, during the event.

This collaboration also materializes the orientation shift from cooperation inåŠ å·¥ to cooperation in technology transfer, research, and development in biotechnology, as emphasized during General Secretary To Lam’s state visit to South Korea from August 10 to 13, 2025.
