This is not just a testament to the group’s project development and financial capabilities, but also affirms its legal responsibility, transparency, and commitment to accompany the nation’s growth that BIM Group has consistently pursued over the past 30 years.

Enterprise for National Development

According to BIM Group’s representative, this recognition reflects not only the company’s business performance but also its direct contribution to the state budget, community development, and the national economy. With the philosophy of “doing business in conjunction with social responsibility,” BIM Group has continuously enhanced its governance capabilities, optimized efficiency, and maintained transparency in all its operations.

BIM’s three-decade journey has been one of relentless value creation for the country—from clean energy and infrastructure projects to world-class urban areas and tourist destinations.

A vivid illustration of BIM Group’s visionary approach is Halong Marina, a coastal urban area in northern Vietnam dubbed the “new CBD by the heritage bay.”

Halong Marina – A coastal urban area featuring leading global hospitality brands: InterContinental, Citadines, and Sailing Club.

After more than a decade of development, Halong Marina has formed a community of over 10,000 residents, becoming an attractive destination for investors, tourists, and locals alike. This urban area boasts an international ecosystem of brands, including InterContinental, Citadines, Sailing Club, LOTTE, and SIS, along with a pioneering live-work-relax model in northern Vietnam.

Notably, new projects currently under development are elevating Halong Marina even further. The highlight is SkyM, a 40-story tower complex with nearly 2,000 hotel-style apartments. The high-rise design and bay-facing location add modern living, resort, and investment options to Ha Long while also enhancing the area’s architectural landscape.

In tandem with SkyM, BIM Group is expanding its amenities to enhance the experiences of residents and visitors. The night-time economic zone is being planned with a diverse range of culinary, shopping, and street art offerings to encourage longer stays and infuse more vitality into the urban area after dark. The marina, constructed as a supplementary infrastructure, provides mooring services and offers tourism experiences on the bay, contributing to the area’s modern amenities.

Additionally, plans to operate an international school and a large-scale entertainment-commercial complex are considered the final touches to the internal ecosystem. These additions will enable Halong Marina to serve not only tourists but also meet the needs of the resident community for living, learning, and recreation.

With these developments, Halong Marina is transforming from a resort destination into a multi-functional coastal urban area. SkyM and the new urban amenities not only add to the city’s product and service offerings but also create long-term value for the Bãi Cháy area in Ha Long.

BIM30+ Vision: From Untouched Lands to Generational Legacies

As it enters a new phase of development, BIM Group remains steadfast in its BIM30+ vision: Creative – Quality – Sustainable investment in every project. This is not just a strategic direction but also reflects the group’s commitment to building long-lasting value for the community and the environment. Starting with untouched lands, BIM Group has gradually created projects that not only meet current demands but also aspire to become legacies for future generations, as evidenced in Ha Long, Ninh Thuan, and Phu Quoc.

In Phu Quoc, for instance, BIM Group has transformed the island with internationally acclaimed resorts. Regent Phu Quoc, featuring 78 villas and 42 Sky Villas, has been recognized by prestigious magazines and rankings such as Travel+Leisure, Michelin Guide, Independent, and CNN.

InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, meanwhile, has been awarded the World Travel Award for Asia’s and Vietnam’s Leading Luxury Family Resort for six consecutive years (2019-2024).

Together with Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc, BIM Group’s three resorts on the island welcomed over 680,000 visitors in 2024, the majority of whom were international tourists. This figure accounts for over 70% of the total international tourist arrivals to Phu Quoc in 2024 (more than 962,000 visitors, according to the Phu Quoc City People’s Committee).

In the coming period, BIM Land is expected to launch Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, the first beachfront resort in Southeast Asia under the Park Hyatt brand. With the completion of this luxurious ecosystem in the Bãi Trường area, BIM Land is poised to seize the opportunity to promote tourism to the international community when the island city hosts the APEC Summit in 2027.

A key feature of the BIM30+ vision is the priority given to developing green and responsible projects, with a focus on achieving the international EDGE standard for green buildings.

In Ha Long, Halong Marina and the InterContinental Halong Bay Resorts & Residences project have earned the EDGE certification by employing energy-saving materials and efficient resource management systems. Grand Bay Halong Villas also adheres to green standards, minimizing emissions during construction and operation.

In Phu Quoc, Regent Phu Quoc and InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort have been recognized by IFC as EDGE Advanced for their energy-efficient design, water conservation, and integration of green spaces. Park Hyatt Phu Quoc continues the green initiatives with renewable energy systems and certified wastewater management, earning the EDGE certification for green buildings.

In Ninh Thuan, BIM Group is collaborating with Ayala (Philippines) on a 1500MW renewable energy project on salt fields. This project not only generates clean energy from wind and solar power but also integrates a circular economic model, utilizing salt and electricity to produce chemicals and reduce waste.

At the northern gateway to Hanoi, Thanh Xuan Valley takes advantage of its valley terrain with over one million mature pine trees. The existing and upcoming developments, including the InterContinental resort, are designed to meet the EDGE standard by harmonizing with nature, using eco-friendly materials, and incorporating energy-efficient systems. This destination showcases the fusion of green architecture and local identity.

BIM Group’s EDGE-certified projects not only minimize environmental impact but also provide healthy living spaces and reduce operating costs for residents and visitors. By incorporating local culture into the design, such as incorporating local motifs in Phu Quoc and Ha Long, BIM Group celebrates regional identities, infusing culture into the architectural experience.

For BIM, urban development is not just about creating living spaces; it’s about building legacies for future generations—where communities, investors, and tourists alike can enjoy sustainable value.

Contributing to the State Budget – BIM Group’s Dual Mission

Commenting on this recognition, BIM Group’s representative affirmed, “Contributing to the national budget is our responsibility; creating sustainable value for the lands we develop is our mission.”

This acknowledgment from CafeF serves as a driving force for BIM Group to continue its journey: accompanying the nation’s economic development while pioneering the creation of vibrant and sustainable urban areas with regional and international stature.
