On August 22nd, a comprehensive cooperation agreement was signed between Saigon-Hanoi Insurance Corporation (BSH), Vietnam Investments Group (VIG), and VUI Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. (TAPTAP) in Ho Chi Minh City. This event marked a significant turning point, underscoring the joint efforts of the three parties in integrating insurance services into a diverse digital ecosystem, effectively serving both businesses and consumers.

BSH is among the top 10 reputable non-life insurance companies in Vietnam, boasting a network of 53 domestic units and a subsidiary in Laos. They offer a wide range of comprehensive insurance products for individuals and organizations alike. With strong financial capabilities, long-standing reputation, and a positive digital transformation strategy, BSH continues to assert its position and role in accompanying customers and businesses on their journeys.

VIG is one of the largest private investment funds in Vietnam, currently managing total assets amounting to 650 million USD. VIG invests in high-growth sectors such as finance, F&B, real estate, technology, retail, healthcare systems, and education, bringing tangible values to consumers. With its extensive business ecosystem and large user base, VIG is not just an investor but also a pioneer in building a modern consumer ecosystem.

On the other hand, TAPTAP, VIG’s loyalty platform, has nearly 4 million users and a network of over 200 partner brands. Beyond being an effective connector between customers and businesses, TAPTAP has become a strategic bridge for BSH to directly offer insurance products to consumers, making insurance an integral part of their daily consumption experience.

During the ceremony, the three parties agreed to sign a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement based on three main pillars: technology integration, customer experience optimization, and dual benefit enhancement.

The agreement goes beyond mere product distribution, as BSH will focus on researching, designing, and developing new insurance products tailored to the specific needs of each unit within the VIG ecosystem, spanning education, healthcare, logistics, and retail. This approach transforms insurance products into a part of the operational infrastructure, enabling VIG and TAPTAP to proactively manage risks, optimize costs, enhance internal welfare, and comprehensively protect people and assets.

Additionally, one of the collaboration’s highlights is TAPTAP’s role as a channel for delivering insurance products to consumers. This platform will allow users to easily access, purchase, and utilize insurance benefits directly through the application, creating added value after each transaction. For instance, when buying insurance, customers will not only receive financial protection but also accumulate VUI reward points, redeemable for attractive offers from TAPTAP’s extensive partner network. This “dual benefit” model makes the customer experience more appealing and practical than ever.

David Do, Executive Director and Founder of VIG, emphasized: “In the past, enterprise risk management was not a focal point in Vietnam. However, it has now become a crucial element for sustainable development. The partnership between BSH, VIG, and TAPTAP is a strategic move that not only enhances comprehensive protection for the ecosystem but also offers valuable and convenient choices to customers. This also testifies to VIG’s long-term investment orientation, aiming to bring practical and sustainable values to the community.”

“TAPTAP’s role is to bridge the gap and make insurance more accessible and beneficial,” shared Vu Anh Duy, Executive Director of TAPTAP, at the signing ceremony. “We expect that combining insurance with loyalty will create a ‘dual benefit’ experience, thereby strengthening the bond between customers and businesses.”

In the context of a thriving digital economy, the collaboration between BSH, VIG, and TAPTAP showcases the proactive vision of Vietnamese enterprises in harnessing their strengths and potentials to optimize experiences and benefits for both businesses and consumers. It also paves the way for a sustainable future for the digital insurance industry in Vietnam.

Saigon-Hanoi Insurance Corporation (BSH) is a leading non-life insurance company in the Vietnamese market, offering diverse non-life insurance products such as motor vehicle insurance, property insurance, health insurance, vehicle insurance, accident insurance, travel insurance, goods insurance, technical insurance, and personal insurance for both individuals and businesses.

In addition to its strong financial foundation, BSH has been honored with prestigious awards, cementing its position and reputation in the market, including the Excellent Asian Enterprise Award 2023, consecutively ranking in the Top 10 reputable non-life insurance brands, Top 10 Leading Brands and Services in Vietnam, and the Top 100 Golden Star Awards…

Transitioning from a traditional insurance model, BSH is undergoing a robust transformation towards process digitization, flexible product development, and insurance integration into daily consumption journeys.
