This is the Exhibition of National Achievements “80 Years of Independence, Freedom and Happiness Journey”. The exhibition takes place from August 28 to September 5, 2025, gathering 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries and sectors, 106 state-owned and private enterprises, with a total of about 180 industries and more than 230 booths.

On the morning of August 25, Vice Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, Head of the Steering Committee for the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025) inspected the completion of the exhibition booths. The Vice Prime Minister requested all ministries, sectors, and localities to complete the booths according to the schedule and be ready for the opening on August 28.

In addition, the Vice Prime Minister requested the relevant units to urgently build a comprehensive report, clearly stating the number of booths participating at the present time, the products displayed in the outdoor and indoor exhibition areas. Especially for machinery and equipment on display, they must be unique, typical, and representative to serve the industries and fields.

Many large corporations in Vietnam participate in the exhibition

Earlier, on the morning of August 24, Vice Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh inspected the exhibits at the outdoor exhibition booths. The Vice Prime Minister acknowledged and commended many units that have actively prepared exhibits such as Hanoi, Hai Phong… with unique and typical products representing the locality participating in the exhibition. The Vice Prime Minister also talked to Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup when visiting the conference and workshop area at the exhibition.

The Vice Prime Minister also assigned specific tasks to the relevant units to prepare absolute security and safety for the exhibition opening ceremony.

The booths are being urgently completed and ready for the exhibition opening on August 28. At this exhibition, there are many booths displaying products of large corporations such as Petrovietnam, Viettel, Vingroup, Vietnam Airlines Corporation, EVN, VIMC…

Among them, Vingroup has many car products on display at the outdoor exhibition area. The company’s bulletproof car will also be showcased at the exhibition.

An unprecedented event in Vietnam

The Exhibition “80 Years of Independence, Freedom and Happiness Journey” officially takes place from August 28 (opening at 8:30 am) to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Center, Truong Sa Road, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.

At the press conference on the afternoon of August 22, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said: “This can be said to be an unprecedented event, another record is the implementation time. In just over a month, the preparation work for the exhibition has been basically completed. Up to now, all booths have taken shape, decorated and are in the process of installing equipment.”

According to the Deputy Minister, this exhibition is designed in a modern style. Each province and city, each ministry and sector has its own space, reflecting the historical length and outstanding achievements at present. The booths also apply new technologies such as touch screens, mapping, multimedia projection…, creating vivid and vivid effects.

In addition, an important highlight of the exhibition is the cultural industry area, introducing 12 fields, including: Games show, fashion, performing arts, cinema, handicrafts, tourism… There is a 400m2 stage for performances, a 200-seat movie theater with excellent Vietnamese films and many exchanges with artists. Moreover, there are also experience spaces such as virtual dressing rooms and creative cultural product display areas.

The outdoor area includes exhibition areas of the Army, Police, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong… forming large and impressive spaces. The exhibition also features a culinary space with specialties from 34 provinces and cities.

Along with the exhibition activities, there are also a series of artistic programs and seminars.
