Unlocking Housing Opportunities: Hai Phong Seeks Investors for Two Social Housing Projects Valued at 2.5 Billion VND

The Hai Phong Department of Construction has just invited interested investors to register as investors for two social housing projects in An Duong Ward, with a total investment of approximately VND 2,500 billion.

The Haiphong Department of Construction has released a notice inviting interested investors to register for two social housing projects in An Duong ward and Tan Truong industrial park (Mao Dien commune).

The first project, “Social Housing Development in An Duong Ward,” spans approximately 7.65 hectares. It comprises approximately seven 5-story apartment buildings with a total area of 33,201.2 square meters, along with a commercial housing area featuring five-story buildings with a total area of 8,289.6 square meters, constructed with exterior finishes.

The project also includes green areas, gardens, and playgrounds covering around 4,023.5 square meters with a maximum height of one story, along with a parking lot spanning 1,026.5 square meters. Additionally, there will be a wastewater treatment plant within the technical infrastructure area, covering about 200 square meters, and roads measuring approximately 22,551.4 square meters.

The total investment for this project exceeds VND 1,044 billion, including over VND 120 billion for compensation, support, and resettlement. The project is expected to be completed and operational within five years from the land handover. Interested investors are invited to submit their applications to the Department of Construction.

Haiphong is also seeking investors for another social housing project in Tan Truong Industrial Park, Mao Dien Commune. This project covers an area of approximately 2.97 hectares and consists of four 20-story apartment buildings, one basement, and one tum, offering 1,388 apartments ranging from 25 to 70 square meters.

Haiphong has been assigned by the Prime Minister a target to develop a total of 49,400 social housing units by 2030 (including the old Hai Duong province’s target). This year, the city plans to complete over 11,430 social housing units.
