On the evening of August 28, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Headquarters informed that the Provincial Police’s Investigation Agency had executed a warrant to search the workplace of Cao Tien Doan (born 1960, residing in Sam Son ward, Thanh Hoa province).

Mr. Doan is currently the Chairman of the Board and General Director of Dong A Company, headquartered at No. 1A Nguyen Hieu, Le Loi Avenue, Hac Thanh Ward, Thanh Hoa Province.
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, the search was conducted following reports from local residents accusing Mr. Cao Tien Doan of legal violations.
The investigation determined that Mr. Doan had violated accounting regulations, resulting in serious consequences as stipulated in Article 221 of the 2015 Criminal Code.

The Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have not yet disclosed detailed information about the search of Mr. Cao Tien Doan’s residence.
In addition to being the General Director of Dong A Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company, Mr. Cao Tien Doan is also a member of the Provincial People’s Council, a member of the Provincial Council’s Economic and Budget Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, and Chairman of the Dong A Thanh Hoa Football Club. |
