The company recently released its financial statements for the first half of 2025, revealing a cumulative loss of over VND 622 billion, a continued decline in equity, and a significant increase in bond debt.

From January to June 2025, Thăng Long Thermal Power recorded an after-tax loss of over VND 88.3 billion, an improvement compared to the loss of nearly VND 458 billion in the same period last year.

As of Q2 2025, the company’s total liabilities stood at VND 9,178 billion, accounting for nearly 74% of total assets. Notably, bond debt increased nearly fourfold year-on-year, surging from VND 579 billion to VND 2,133 billion.

Thăng Long Thermal Power Joint Stock Company is a part of the Geleximco Group ecosystem. According to the group, the Thăng Long Thermal Power Project is introduced as having a total investment of over VND 20,000 billion, making it the first large-scale private thermal power project in Vietnam.
