The Saigon Marina International Financial Centre (Saigon Marina IFC) is one of 80 landmark projects inaugurated and commenced to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2/9/1945 – 2/9/2025). It also marks the beginning of the construction of the International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

The project was inaugurated and launched on August 19, with the aspiration to become a hub for banks, financial institutions, technology corporations, and logistics companies, serving over 10,000 professionals working daily.

Saigon Marina IFC was inaugurated on August 19. The developer of Saigon Marina IFC is Capitaland Tower Company Limited, formerly under the CapitaLand Group. The development consultant and operator is Keppel Corporation (Singapore).

Saigon Marina IFC is located in the Ba Son area, which was once associated with the history of shipbuilding and the Saigon commercial port. This location is considered strategic as it sits by the Saigon River and connects directly to major trade routes such as Ton Duc Thang – Nguyen Hue, while offering convenient access to the administrative and business center of the city.

Saigon Marina IFC is a pioneer in Vietnam in applying the TOD (Transit-Oriented Development) model with a direct connection to Ba Son Station on Metro Line 1.

The B2 basement level of the tower is designed to be interconnected with the underground Ba Son Station, while the tower’s premises also feature entrances 4 and 5 of Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien), offering a convenient, modern, and time-efficient travel experience.

From a distance, Saigon Marina IFC stands tall on the city’s skyline, becoming a prominent landmark in the city center and a testament to the dramatic changes in the urban landscape. The tower is constructed with 55 floors above ground and 5 basement levels, with a total floor area of over 106,000 square meters.

Approximately 87,000 square meters are dedicated to Grade A offices, while the remaining area accommodates a commercial center, restaurants, meeting rooms, and premium amenities.

The tower is expected to be a hub for over 10,000 professionals and clients who will work here every day.

In terms of design, this is one of the three tallest towers in Vietnam, designed to LEED Gold standards with energy-saving and environmentally friendly solutions, with over 30% of the area allocated for green spaces.

The architectural highlight of the tower is the full-facade LED system capable of displaying vibrant artistic lighting…

… combined with a modern water music square, making Saigon Marina IFC a “beacon” of the urban economy.

Inside, Saigon Marina IFC blends modern and classical elements seamlessly. Pictured here is the exhibition area, featuring recreations of the history of shipbuilding and the Ba Son – Saigon commercial port.

This tower features an ultra-modern design, with 34 elevators ensuring a maximum waiting time of 30 seconds during peak hours.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony on August 19, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Permanent Vice Chairman of HDBank, shared: “At this moment, the past and the present are joining hands to step into the future – from the Ba Son workers of yesteryear to today’s engineers and experts – all connected by a common thread: the will and belief in a prosperous Vietnam that is reaching out to the world.”

With its prime location and strategic connectivity, Saigon Marina IFC has become a hub for multinational corporations, financial institutions, premium Grade A+ offices, international convention centers, consulates, and a range of premium amenities.

This center also provides financial and banking services, a fintech sandbox for innovation, the formation of international commodity and derivative exchanges, and the development of supply chain, logistics, and port services.
