Agribank’s display, in particular, came to life through various media, including documents, images, and video reports presented using modern technology, reflecting the bank’s 37-year “Proud Mission” of supporting the development of the “Tam Nong” (agriculture, farmers, and rural areas) and the nation’s progress. Born out of the need for innovation, Agribank has evolved through different periods with different names, but its proud mission has always been linked to the development of Vietnamese agriculture and the nation’s progress.

In its 37 years within the banking industry’s 74-year history and Vietnam’s 80-year journey of Independence, Freedom, and Happiness, Agribank takes pride in being the country’s leading financial institution, closely accompanying people and businesses across the nation. It ensures the provision of capital and services for production and business development, employing creative and effective approaches. From lending to farmer households, establishing joint liability groups for borrowing, mobile banking, and proposing the establishment of a bank for the poor (now the Social Policy Bank), to investing in clean agriculture, value chains, and high-tech agriculture, Agribank has made indelible marks as a bank dedicated to the people and the nation’s progress.

Beyond its traditional focus on “Tam Nong,” Agribank is currently investing over 40% of its outstanding loans in key sectors such as renewable energy, industry, infrastructure development, and consumer activities, shaping a new landscape for the national economy. As a pioneer in the digital transformation journey, Agribank remains committed to building a modern and friendly digital bank, offering over 200 safe and convenient financial products suitable for all customer segments. It caters to approximately 95% of transactions through digital channels, driving the country’s digital transformation and realizing the vision of a smart, safe, and convenient financial system.

On this occasion, Agribank introduced the Smart Transaction Counter solution, comprising Smart Kiosk and Smart Tablet, among other smart devices and software. The digitization of transaction processes has revolutionized traditional banking, eliminating the need for customers to queue and fill out complex paperwork. By placing their identity cards in the Smart Kiosk, customers can perform various transactions, such as account opening, deposits, and loans, with estimated time savings of 80-90%. This innovation is especially beneficial for rural residents and those in remote areas who may be unfamiliar with technology or face challenges with traditional banking procedures. In the future, this transaction model will be available at over 2,200 Agribank transaction points nationwide, fulfilling the commitment to digitize all transactions and serve all customers.
