According to VnExpress, during the search, several trucks were brought to the scene to transport numerous computers and documents from the headquarters of Dong A Company to the investigative agency.

Regarding the reason for the search, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police stated that they had previously received reports from the public about Mr. Cao Tien Doan’s alleged illegal activities.

The investigation determined that Mr. Doan had violated accounting regulations, resulting in serious consequences as stipulated in Article 221 of the 2015 Criminal Code.

The Investigative Police Agency of Thanh Hoa Provincial Public Security is continuing to investigate and clarify the violations for strict handling in accordance with the law.
