The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) has provided an update on the administrative boundary between Binh Trung and An Khanh wards. They have adjusted the area data based on the boundary map of the plan for rearranging communal-level administrative units in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, which was confirmed by Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, Bui Minh Thanh. The department also utilized the map of the plan for rearranging administrative units at the communal and provincial levels to determine land areas for land inventory and mapping of land use status in the city.

According to the DARD, they have completed the compilation of land inventory data and the creation of a map of land use status for 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City. They have also updated this data on the statistical and land inventory portal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. These area figures are based on the map of the plan for rearranging administrative units at the communal and provincial levels, provided by the Department of Home Affairs.

Once the dossier on administrative boundaries in Ho Chi Minh City is completed and published, the DARD will update the natural area data for communal-level units based on this dossier.
