Đắk Lắk is renowned for its expansive durian plantations, spanning almost 40,000 hectares, with an anticipated yield of over 390,000 tons this year.

The province of Đắk Lắk has officially entered the durian harvest season. Mr. Lê Anh Trung, Chairman of the Đắk Lắk Durian Association, shared that businesses, cooperatives, and farmers are intensely focused on procurement, processing, and export during this busy period.

A significant portion of Đắk Lắk’s durian production is exported to China. Consequently, during the harvest season, there is a substantial influx of heavy-duty trucks and containers towards the durian hub.

As observed on National Highway 26, in Krông Pắc and Ea Knuếc communes, Đắk Lắk, there is a high volume of vehicular traffic.

Additionally, on both sides of the road, container trucks queue up, awaiting their turn to load cargo.

The sight of container trucks lined up on National Highway 26 presents a bustling and vibrant scene.

At times, the high traffic volume leads to temporary congestion, resulting in long queues of vehicles waiting to move forward.

Mr. Lê Anh Trung, Chairman of the Đắk Lắk Durian Association, expressed his delight at the sight of container trucks queued on National Highway 26, considering it a positive sign of the strong appeal of Đắk Lắk durian in this year’s harvest season.

According to the Chairman of the Đắk Lắk Durian Association, maintaining high-quality standards and strictly adhering to import regulations are crucial for the sustainable development and preservation of the reputation of Vietnamese durian.
