At the recent 2025 Gia Lai Investment Promotion Conference, Nutifood Nutrition Food Joint Stock Company (Nutifood) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the People’s Committee of Gia Lai province on comprehensive cooperation, aiming to develop Gia Lai into a “dairy paradise” and a center for high-quality fresh milk production in the Central – Highlands region.
Specifically, Nutifood will expand the scale of the NutiMilk Gia Lai Dairy Farm from 12,000 cows to 30,000 cows and increase the area of cow sheds from 52 hectares to 187 hectares, while expanding the grazing area from 569 hectares to 1,468 hectares.
The area for growing grass and corn in cooperation with farmers is also expected to increase from 1,000 hectares to 2,500 hectares. The enterprise believes that this can contribute to creating additional livelihoods and jobs for local people.
Up to now, Nutifood has invested more than VND 4,500 billion in Gia Lai, including VND 3,000 billion for the farm and VND 1,500 billion for the milk processing plant. In the next phase, the company plans to pour an additional VND 6,000 billion to expand the farm and upgrade the plant and production line.
“With favorable natural conditions and a mild climate in Gia Lai, NutiMilk Dairy Farm has produced fresh milk with 3.5 grams of protein per 100ml, a quality comparable to that of Australia and New Zealand – the world’s leading countries in dairy farming and production,” said Mr. Le Nguyen Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nutifood.
Nutifood also has a modern factory just an hour’s drive from the farm, ensuring that milk is processed promptly.
In the next phase, Nutifood commits to continuing to expand the scale of livestock farming, investing in high technology, and applying international standards in the entire production process at NutiMilk Gia Lai Dairy Farm.
Nutifood is a Vietnamese company in the field of nutritional food and dairy products, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City. The company was founded by Doctor Tran Thi Le and rose to prominence in the 2000s with its specialized milk, nutritional milk powder, and fresh milk products.
Nutifood officially introduced the NutiMilk Dairy Farm in 2020, two years after taking over from the Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group.
In addition to Gia Lai, Nutifood currently has several other production facilities in the former Ha Nam, Hung Yen, and Binh Duong provinces. Notably, in 2018, the company also acquired a dairy plant in Sweden (Nutifood Sweden) to develop a premium infant formula product line.
