Haidilao Hot Pot Restaurant Chain Earns 1,150 Billion VND in Vietnam in the First Half of the Year

Super Hi International, the international operator of the Haidilao hot pot restaurant chain, reported revenue of $43.6 million in the first six months of 2025, a 1.6% increase compared to the same period last year.

Vietnam is currently among the top four strategic international markets for the chain, along with Singapore, the United States, and Malaysia. These markets contribute over 10% of the total international sales.

Across all markets outside of China, the company recorded revenue of $396.7 million in the first half of the year, a 7% increase compared to 2024. Pre-tax profit reached $34.7 million, a 43-fold increase from the previous year. Net profit turned profitable with $28.3 million.

In the first six months, the chain opened eight new restaurants and closed four underperforming ones, bringing the total number of international branches to 126 by the end of June. The key locations remain focused on Southeast Asia, East Asia, and North America.

Haidilao currently operates 16 restaurants in major cities across Vietnam, mainly in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Their unique customer service strategies, including noodle-pulling performances and free manicure services, have successfully attracted customers who are willing to pay for the unique dining experience.
