The peak period runs from February 2, 2026, to March 3, 2026 (from the 15th day of the last lunar month to the 15th day of the first lunar month). Tickets are available for purchase on the websites, mobile applications, and official ticket offices and agencies of Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, and VASCO.

Vietnam Airlines Group offers over 3.5 million seats for the 2026 Lunar New Year peak season
The airline group focuses on domestic routes connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang with major destinations such as Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue, Quy Nhon, Cam Ranh, and Phu Quoc. There is an increase of nearly 18% in seats for the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route, 9% for Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang, and 9-13% for flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, and Hue.
For international routes, Vietnam Airlines Group also adds more flights between Vietnam and popular destinations like Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Singapore to meet the travel demand during the Lunar New Year holiday.
Notably, approximately 20% of the flights will be scheduled during night and early morning hours to reduce daytime pressure and provide passengers with more options.
The airline has prepared ground services and staff to ensure smooth operations during this peak period. Passengers are advised to book early and only through official channels to avoid the risk of fake or overpriced tickets.
