At the conference, Mr. Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sun Group, shared that since its inception in Danang in 2007, the Group has recognized the potential and responded to the guidance of the Party and State leaders by
pioneering the development of tourism in a professional manner through an ecosystem of tourism projects, with resorts and entertainment projects spanning from North to South.
The first project in Ba Na Hills embodied the philosophy of beautifying the land. Today, Sun Group has a presence in many regions with world-class projects, contributing to changing the face and enhancing Vietnam’s position on the international tourism map, such as Sun World Fansipan Legend in Lao Cai and Sun World Ha Long in Quang Ninh…
In the new context with many opportunities and challenges, Sun Group wants to accompany the Government in achieving the goal of rapid and sustainable development, building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
“With the goal of tourism contributing about 10% of the country’s GDP, Sun Group commits to continue accompanying the Government to prosper,”
emphasized Mr. Dang Minh Truong.
The Chairman of Sun Group’s Board of Directors added that Vietnam is endowed with abundant natural resources, talented human capital, diverse assets, and cultural heritages, both tangible and intangible. Therefore, if these advantages are reasonably exploited, they will quickly become a competitive edge to foster robust development, helping our country catch up with many other nations globally.
In reality, the Party and State have also issued important guidelines and policies to make tourism a spearhead economic sector. Notably, Resolution 08 of the Politburo clearly defines the goal that by 2030, tourism will become a driving force, promoting the development of many other fields.
