In the afternoon of September 3rd, the public security authorities of Vĩnh Hoàng commune, Quảng Trị province, announced that they are looking for the owner of a significant amount of money left at the ATM of a local bank.

Earlier that day, at 8:15 a.m., Mr. Nguyễn Sư Trung, a resident of Thủy Trung village in Vĩnh Hoàng commune, visited the ATM of the Ngân hàng Nông Nghiệp – Phát Triển Nông Thôn (Agricultural and Rural Development Bank) in Vĩnh Linh district, Quảng Trị province, to withdraw cash.

While operating the machine, Mr. Trung noticed that the previous user had left behind VND 5 million in the cash dispenser.

Mr. Trung immediately took the entire amount to the Vĩnh Hoàng Commune Police Station, reporting and turning it over with the hope that the authorities could quickly locate and return it to its rightful owner.

According to Mr. Trung, just before he approached the ATM, he witnessed a white car carrying approximately four women driving away from the vicinity.

The Vĩnh Hoàng Commune Police are requesting that the owner of the aforementioned money get in touch with them to reclaim it.
