**Vingroup’s Financial Report Reveals Insights into its Education Segment**

Vingroup’s reviewed financial report for the first half of 2025 revealed interesting insights into their education segment. The conglomerate, owned by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, operates three prominent education brands: Vinschool, VinUni, and Brighton International School.

The education segment generated a remarkable pure revenue of VND 3,204 billion in the first half of 2025, reflecting a nearly 14% increase compared to the same period last year.

This figure surpasses the performance of the healthcare segment, which brought in VND 2,571 billion, and contributes significantly to Vingroup’s diverse portfolio, including real estate transfers, manufacturing, hotel and tourism operations, and other activities.

Cost of goods sold and services for the education segment stood at VND 2,464 billion in the first half of this year, an increase from VND 2,095 billion in the same period last year.

Notably, the education segment contributed to Vingroup’s pre-tax income with a substantial VND 351 billion, alongside the real estate transfer business, which generated VND 24,351 billion.

Vingroup’s report also disclosed that as of June 30, Vinschool Company had undistributed post-tax profits of VND 2,451 billion. However, as a social enterprise, Vinschool is committed to reinvesting its profits to upgrade and develop its education system, and is not permitted to distribute profits to its owners.

Additionally, Vingroup mentioned that Vinschool benefits from a 10% corporate income tax rate on income earned from socialization activities in the education sector. As of June 30, 2025, Vingroup holds 100% of the voting rights and 61.43% of the equity interest in Vinschool.
