On September 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 1883/QD-TTg, appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, and Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, as Deputy Chief of the Government Inspectorate.

Mr. Nguyen Van Quang was born in 1969 and is a native of Hai Phong city. He holds a Doctorate in Law. Mr. Quang has a long career in the prosecution sector, having served as the Chief Prosecutor of Hai Phong City from 2012 to 2014. He then moved to the Supreme People’s Procuracy.
From June 2015 to May 2017, he was the Chief Prosecutor of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Level Procuracy. Subsequently, he was appointed as Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People’s Procuracy.
From December 2019 to October 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam assigned Mr. Quang to join the Executive Board and the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee, where he served as Permanent Vice Secretary. Since 2020, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang has been the Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee.
With this appointment, the Government Inspectorate now has five deputy chiefs, including Mr. Le Sy Bay, Mr. Duong Quoc Huy, Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Mr. Le Tien Dat, and Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, who is the Permanent Deputy Chief.
