On September 3, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Hoa Binh, signed a decision approving the retirement of Dao Minh Tu, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, effective October 1, 2025.

Mr. Dao Minh Tu, born in 1964, has been serving as the Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam since May 2012 and was reappointed to the position in May 2017 and May 2022.
This decision brings an end to Mr. Tu’s distinguished career in Vietnam’s financial sector.
