Mr. Dao Minh Tu
On September 3, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 1890 of the Prime Minister on the retirement of Mr. Dao Minh Tu, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
According to the Prime Minister’s decision, Mr. Dao Minh Tu, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, will retire from October 1 onwards.
Mr. Dao Minh Tu was born on June 14, 1964, and holds a doctorate in economics. He was first appointed as Deputy Governor of the SBV in May 2012. Prior to that, he served as Chief of Office of the State Bank of Vietnam, Head of the Secretariat of the National Financial and Monetary Policy Advisory Council, and Director of the Reward and Commendation Department. He was reappointed as Deputy Governor of the SBV in May 2017 and May 2022.
As of now, Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu has over 35 years of experience in the banking industry.
