Hyundai Car Prices Slashed for Ghost Month: Palisade Hits Rock Bottom, Accent Drops Below 400 Million VND

In September 2025, Hyundai Thanh Cong is offering nationwide discounts of up to VND 200 million for its customers. According to the automaker, the discounts vary across models but are not specified for each version. Specifically, the Hyundai Accent and Stargazer are offered with a maximum discount of VND 40 million, bringing the actual selling price to around VND 399 million and VND 449 million, respectively.

Following suit, the Hyundai Creta receives a maximum discount of VND 50 million, resulting in a post-discount starting price of approximately VND 549 million. Despite belonging to the B-segment SUV category, the post-discount price of the Creta is comparable to that of SUVs in the lower segment, such as the Sonet (ranging from VND 539 million to VND 624 million), Raize (VND 510 million), and even its “junior” model, the Venue (VND 499 million to VND 539 million).

The Hyundai Tucson benefits from a maximum discount of VND 55 million, taking its actual price to VND 714 million. This figure is significantly more affordable than the starting prices of its leading segment competitors, such as the Mazda CX-5 (VND 749 million) and Ford Territory (VND 762 million).

Hyundai continues to offer substantial discounts for its Santa Fe and Palisade models. Specifically, the Santa Fe receives a discount of up to VND 125 million, resulting in a post-discount price of approximately VND 950 million. The Palisade, a large SUV, boasts the highest discount of up to VND 200 million, bringing its actual price down to around VND 1,269 billion.

In addition to the manufacturer’s incentives, many dealerships also offer their own promotions, mainly applicable to 2024-produced vehicles. In Thanh Hoa, the Santa Fe Prestige and Calligraphy Turbo models from 2024 are discounted by VND 190 million and VND 195 million, respectively. For the 2025 Santa Fe, some dealerships offer to cover the full registration fee, equivalent to VND 106-163 million depending on the region. Similarly, the Hyundai Palisade is also discounted by up to VND 144 million, along with an accessory package and a maintenance card.

Smaller models are also offered with incentives to stimulate demand. A dealership in Hanoi is offering a discount of up to VND 82 million for the 2024 Hyundai Accent High variant, bringing the actual price down to VND 487 million from the initial listed price of VND 569 million.

Additionally, some models that are not included in the official discounts also receive price adjustments at dealerships. For instance, the base model of the Hyundai Elantra is currently offered at VND 555 million, a VND 24 million reduction from the listed price. While this discount might not seem significant, it still allows customers to save money and potentially allocate the remaining funds towards additional accessories or feature upgrades according to their preferences.
