Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE in Vietnam, marking the latest addition to the Galaxy S25 series with a clear focus on the upper mid-range segment.
While retaining the DNA of its flagship siblings, the S25 FE strikes a balance between performance, features, and price. It boasts a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a generous 4,900mAh battery, 45W fast charging, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
Notably, the device features the latest Galaxy AI, previously introduced on the Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra. Features such as Gemini Live, Now Bar, and “Circle to Search” are included, showcasing Samsung’s intention to make AI a standard across its product lineup, rather than a privilege limited to its premium models.
The Galaxy S25 FE’s camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP front-facing camera. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra stands out with its impressive 200MP camera and powerful optical zoom capabilities. However, the S25 FE still excels in everyday photography thanks to its AI noise reduction, Super HDR, and onboard editing tools.

Compared to the S25 and S25+, the FE shares a similar design but differs in hardware specifications: it is powered by the Exynos 2400 processor instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite found in the Ultra, has 8GB of RAM instead of up to 16GB, and offers storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. To make up for these differences, the S25 FE benefits from an improved cooling system, enhancing multitasking and gaming stability.
In terms of pricing, the Galaxy S25 FE starts at VND 16.69 million for the 128GB variant, significantly lower than the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s starting price of nearly VND 30 million in Vietnam. This price difference underscores Samsung’s strategy of providing a wider range of choices to consumers: the Ultra caters to those seeking the utmost in performance and camera capabilities, while the S25 and S25+ offer a balanced experience, and the FE becomes the cost-optimized option for those who desire S25 features at a more accessible price point.
The 256GB and 512GB models are priced at VND 18.49 million and VND 21.99 million, respectively. Buyers will also receive discounts ranging from VND 1.5 million to VND 3 million depending on the model.
The device will be available from September 12th in four color options: Haze Green, Smoke Black, Navy, and Snow White. Pre-order bonuses include e-vouchers and six months of Google AI Pro access.
By bringing its flagship technologies to a lower price segment, Samsung is expanding the reach of the Galaxy S25 series while enhancing its competitiveness in the face of increasing pressure from Chinese brands in the AI smartphone space.
