The train features a unique two-story design, with each carriage narrating a distinct story. This innovative approach promises to offer passengers a novel and captivating experience.
Inspired by the ancient beauty of the former capital, Thang Long, the ‘5 Cua O Tourist Train’, also known as ‘The Hanoi Train’, pays homage to Hanoi’s rich history. Each carriage is named after one of Hanoi’s famous five gates: O Cau Den, O Quan Chuong, O Cau Giay, O Cho Dua, and O Dong Mac. These names not only evoke the city’s thousand-year-old cultural heritage but also symbolize the heritage of the Red River Delta region.

The train boasts a two-story design, with each carriage uniquely themed and luxuriously appointed, accommodating 40 to 60 seats. The expansive windows offer passengers a panoramic view of the stunning scenery along the route. Throughout the journey, passengers will be immersed in traditional Vietnamese cultural and artistic performances, including Quan Ho folk songs, Ca Tru ceremonial singing, Cheo opera, and Xam singing. This initiative aims to bring railways back into the urban lifestyle, promoting tourism and preserving the nation’s cultural heritage.
