The following individuals have been proposed for prosecution: Le Tuan Linh, Director and legal representative; Nguyen Thi Thai Hang, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors; Le Thanh Cong; Pham Quang Linh (Quang Linh Vlog), member of the Board of Directors; and Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien (Miss Grand International 2021).

The defendants in the case.

Previously, in April and May 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security had issued decisions to initiate legal proceedings and arrest the aforementioned defendants.

According to the investigation results, the Kera vegetable candy, a dietary supplement produced and distributed by Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien in collaboration with the shareholders of Chi Em Rot Company, is at the center of the case. In the capital contribution structure, Thuy Tien owned 30% of the shares, while the remaining shareholders held 70%.

After its market launch, Thuy Tien, along with Nguyen Thi Thai Hang and Pham Quang Linh, disseminated misinformation, exaggerating the product’s effects. Meanwhile, the product’s inspection records and declarations showed a meager fiber content (0.935%), rendering it almost worthless in terms of fiber supplementation for consumers. Moreover, Asia Life JSC, the manufacturing company, failed to clarify the origin of the raw materials used.

Towards the end of February 2025, when online discussions erupted regarding the composition of Kera candy, Thuy Tien proactively proposed signing a contract to legitimize the collaboration under the guise of advertising cooperation. This was an attempt to conceal her role as a shareholder and protect her personal image.

The investigation determined that Chi Em Rot Company sold over 135,000 boxes of Kera candy, generating nearly VND 18 billion in revenue. Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien alone earned nearly VND 7 billion in “commissions.”

The investigating agency affirmed that there is sufficient evidence to establish that the defendants’ deceptive acts directly violated consumer rights and negatively impacted the market. The case file has been transferred to the Supreme People’s Procuracy for consideration and prosecution in accordance with legal regulations.
